About the Awards Programme
TMA honors excellence through its annual awards program, which recognises achievements in the two categories listed below.

A turnaroundand/or a restructure means more than adjusting a balance sheet. When corporate value is on the line, jobs are at stake and time is the enemy, turnaround professionals step in to establish effective operations, implement solid management, improve cash flow and increase production, in addition to the countless other factors that contribute to the triumphant recovery of a struggling company.

Because TMA understands that each turnaround is unique, it has created distinct categories to recognize outstanding turnarounds. The awards are presented to the individual, who together with a team of turnaround professionals, has orchestrated the most successful turnaround in the following categories:

Award Category 1:
Turnaround of the Year Award
Recognises the individuals who establish effective operations, implement solid management, improve cash flow, and increase production, in addition to the other operational factors leading to recovery of a struggling business.

Turnaround entries must be submitted in one of the categories listed below.
The Awards Committee may re-categorize an entry should another
category be more appropriate or advantageous.

• Small company

• Mid-Size Company

• Large Company

Award Category 2:
Restructuring Deal of the Year Award
Recognises the individuals who orchestrate a financial restructure, including a merger, acquisition, refinancing and debt and/or equity transactions leading to recapitalisation of a struggling business.

CTP Student of the Year
TMA Australia also recognises an outstanding student who has undertaken the University of Technology (Sydney) Certified Turnaround Professional Courses.
