Panel session

The Rex Group administration is a leading example of the complexities involved in restructuring a critical national infrastructure business while maintaining essential services.

This session will explore the operational, financial and legal challenges of the administration, including securing government funding support, delivering operational restructuring initiatives, and preparing the business for sale through route profitability forecasting, commercial and vendor due diligence, and transaction-ready forecast models.

The panel will also examine the collaboration between administrators, management, government stakeholders and regional communities that enabled the continuation of critical regional aviation services, helping preserve Rex’s legacy and connectivity across regional and remote Australia.
