Kathryn Sutherland-Smith (Jones Day)

Kathryn is an experienced insolvency and restructuring lawyer who has practiced in Australia and in the United States. Over the past decade, Kathryn has structured and implemented multibillion dollar global reorganizations through schemes of arrangement, external administrations, and proceedings under chapters 11 and 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.

Nick Gill (KordaMentha)

Nick is an experienced restructuring professional. During his 20-year career, Nick has worked in Australia as well as the United Kingdom and Western Europe. His overseas experience includes the informal restructuring of a Dutch power plant; the UK Scheme of Arrangements of an Irish Conglomerate; the UK scheme of arrangement of a subprime lender as well as the turnaround of a German catalogue retailer.

Vicki Bell (Victorian Bar)

Vicki is a barrister with a particular interest in cross-border insolvency and litigation and is one of only two Melbourne-based barristers to be designated a Fellow of INSOL International. Vicki was previously a commercial litigation solicitor with Minter Ellison, Arnold Bloch Leibler and Gilbert + Tobin. Vicki also lectures in Corporations Law, Contract and Property Law at Monash University in the Juris Doctor program.
