The Capital Meets Turnaround discussion panel in Event debrief by Fiona Meiklejohn, FTI Consulting

The WA chapter of the Turnaround Management Association held its annual Capital Meets Turnaround event at Perth’s beautiful new Westin hotel earlier this month.

This flagship event began with an outstanding technical panel session moderated by Mark Beyer of Business News and included the Hon. Cheryl Edwardes, Director of Atlas Iron and Rick Crabb, Chairman of Paladin Energy sharing their insights on steering businesses through difficult times.

Capital providers Byron Beath of Oaktree Capital and Simon Raftery of Remagen Capital Partners were on hand to discuss bespoke capital solutions and preserving enterprise value.

The 195 dinner guests heard from the TMA charity partner Foodbank WA, Andrew Wilkinson and an excellent discussion around leadership, culture and turnaround from Mettle Crisis Leaders', Ben Pronk, a former SAS member.

The 2018 Capital Meets Turnaround was an exceptional success and continues to demonstrate the strength of TMA membership’s voice in the turnaround industry.
